Four large bunk houses for single miners were located in lower Treadwell along the waterfront. Photographs of the two and three-story structures exist from 1908 but it is likely that some were built prior to 1900. The company equipped the buildings with electric lights, steam heat, lavatories, showers, and tubs and also provided furniture and bedding. Concrete foundation pillars from bunkhouse # 4 are still visible along the historic trail near the cave in site.
